Editing: This is the first step in the quality control process: comparing the translation to the original document, checking and proofing the accuracy.

Proofreading: This is the second step in the quality control process: reading through already translated and edited material and checking for any casual omissions/ errors.

Kinds of Documents:
personal (birth certificates, marriage certificates, driver's licenses, etc . – offered with the court interpreter and translator proof of accrucay);
business (contracts, agreements, presentations, surveys, advertisements, etc.); web sites; manuals; and many others.

Oral Proficiency Interviews and Written Examinations

Listening to recorded material that is transcribed in the original language/s and translating to the target language.
